Restaurants with Heart
RWH_LogoOnly-2110 Restaurants with Heart, to benefit Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, featuring fine dining at unique Peninsula restaurants, continues to be a very popular monthly event for members and guests alike. Half the dinner proceeds will be donated to LPCH. If you enjoy dining out and trying restaurants new to you, or are a member of a group of friends who enjoy dining out together, please consider Restaurants with Heart dinner nights. There are no speeches or appeals for money. It is just a night out for the benefit of children. Restaurants with Heart features a different Peninsula restaurant each month for two nights. Two PAA members will serve as hostessses each evening to greet diners. For Information Call

Cookbook Marketing & Sales
Tastes, Tales and Traditions, a classic and unique cookbook created and published by our volunteer members. For more than 70 years the Auxiliary ran a successful restaurant at the Allied Arts Guild and the Cookbook celebrates that legacy with favorite recipes that span a timeless collection. All profits derived from the sale of this book are donated to the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Luisa Pliska
Tote bags for LPCH patients This team of volunteers makes gift Tote Bags that are given to patients of LPCH. This team has been making Tote Bags for many years and gives about 100 each December. Dallas uses mostly donated fabric and usually assembles kits for the bags and distributes them to members for sewing. Dallas Manning
Thora's Thimbles This project continues in loving memory of Thora Richardson. Volunteers meet the second Tuesday of every month to create cough pillow and knit blankets for young patients at LPCH. Thora, a past President of the Auxiliary, started this endeavor in June 2009, with many cough pillows and 66 blankets and quilts being donated. Cough pillows are used by the CVICU and the allergy department. Here's a photo of Thora gifting pillows and blankets | Another photo gifting pillows to LPCH. Ellen Smith
"Build a Bear" and Book Workshop Since 2007 members and friends have donated stuffed teddy bears and books to hospitalized children receiving care at LPCH during the Christmas holidays. In 2014, BEARGRAMS (greeting cards to honor a friend, occasion, stocking stuffer, etc) were added and are available for sale.
