Information & Frequently Asked Questions

The Venue

Allied Arts Guild is a splendid example of Spanish Colonial architecture set amid lush, seasonal gardens. Through the extraordinary property, beautiful tile work, hand-wrought iron, colorful frescoes, and splashing fountains greet and please the senses. Intriguing walkways fashioned by the designer of the property, Pedro deLemos, lead one to lovely patios, arbors, roses, tranquil spots of color, and a peek into the past. Our event will be held in The Sunset Room, and our guests are welcome to tour the rest of the property at their own leisure. Parking is available on site.

The Menu

At each of the two seatings (11 a.m. (SOLD OUT) and 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 24) our adult guests will be served a sparkling wine cocktail, tea and adult tea fare while the children will have a kid-friendly tea plate, cocoa and a goodie bag.

The Entertainment

Members of the Menlowe ballet will appear as "living dolls" as the story of The Nutcracker is told. Santa will be in residence and available for photos (bring your camera!/phone!) And carolers will be strolling.

A select number of vendors will be available for Holiday Shopping. The shops at Allied Arts plan to remain open as well

About the Palo Alto Auxiliary

For more than 85 years the Palo Alto Auxiliary has raised money to promote, foster and maintain the welfare of children. Established in 1931, volunteer members have engaged in wide-ranging activities, all to provide financial support for uncompensated medical care given to children at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. We invite you to join to further our mission - any volunteer can provide you with additional information on how you can get involved.
